Efrem Debono - Founder and Tax practitioner

Efrem is a tax advisor who assists service providers with any issues and pending matters related to taxation.  

With over 13 years of extensive experience working for the Malta Tax and Customs Administration and former Head of Taxation at a local CSP, Efrem played a pivotal role in policy-making, overseeing national-level projects, and providing technical expertise to both taxpayers and their representatives.

Efrem’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Banking and Finance, as well as a Master of Arts in Taxation, which underpin his managerial and technical expertise in the field.

In addition to advisory work, TAX/ED also offers services related to tax debt management and compliance. Supporting clients in negotiating settlements, managing tax liabilities, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, helping them navigate complex tax situations with confidence and efficiency.
